About Me
My own experiences as a mum inspired me to train as a mental health coach for children.
I understand that searching for support can be frustrating. As parents or carers, we can feel isolated when we struggle to find help. Families face long waiting lists and need timely and responsive support to support of their child’s mental health. Early intervention is key to prevent situations from escalating, which can lead to more difficulty and distress.
I am passionate about supporting you. You are so important, and I believe that if we look after our parents and carers, and equip them with confidence and knowledge, we are directly supporting their children.
Alongside my professional qualifications, I have my own, personal experience of neurodiversity, child bereavement, supporting a child through a separation, emotionally based school avoidance and anxiety. I know how you feel, and alongside my training, this has equipped me with the skills to help your family.
At the moment, I am in training to be a parent coach and look forward to expanding my services to support parents too.
I have volunteered and worked with families for ten years and I am a parent to three children, two teenagers and an eight-year-old-daughter.
